    @Dilpreet Singh read about the novel which it is based on. And it is showing in the trailer that the guy was actually hindu who converted to Sikhism later. Plus it is about that hindu guy who tried to protect a Sikh whom he loved by pretending to take part in the riots.

    @Nickte Marin Romero i have read about the novel which it is based on. It is not against the Sikh community. Here it is shown that a hindu guy did riots in 1984 and then converted to Sikhism. But later it was believed that he didn't take part in it actually but tried to protect a sikh girl whom he loved. So it's not showing Sikhs in bad light.
