NASA's mission is to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.

To do that, we have worked around the world -- and off it -- for more than 50 years, searching for answers to fundamental questions about our place in the universe. We're exploring space and discovering Earth. Join us for this exciting and important journey.

  • Oh my word!

  • Amaizing!

  • Congrats!

  • so basically we are UFO's on Mars

  • Naza

  • I think 6.1k in china do not like that beautiful touchdown? Why?

  • 360 view please😍

  • Congratulations NASA. Congratulations USA.

  • good joke

  • Peoples are dying on earth, and we are Searching life on Mars.. 👍🏻🤭

  • nano nano, other illegal in my planet.

  • Think one year mars Will be green

  • When will nasa highlight a man in space bcs hes white?? nasa?

  • When will nasa highlight a man in space bcs hes white?? nasa?

  • An absolutely mind blowing achievement, congratulations and a million thanks to everyone involved.

  • 👶👏

  • We had already polluted Earth. Why can’t just leave other planets alone?

  • Heartly congratulations to NASA and the kind and loving people of the United States🇺🇸 from an Indian🇮🇳

  • Why would they install DAMAGED tank? THANK YOU ELON MUSK restoring faith again

  • That's amazing, I would not have expected that this sort of video capability was possible. I wonder what the data rate was to send that video back? Was it either an exponential increase in transfer speeds, or just really amazing compression?

    • The video wasn’t real-time. The rover recorded the various EDL videos and then downloaded them a day or two after the landing. JPL then merged these videos with the Mission Control commentators to make this video. The rover sends/receives most of its data to/from orbiters around Mars. These orbiters then relay the data to Earth where it is received by the Deep Space Network (DSN). The data rates vary, somewhere between a few hundred kilobits per second, up to 1-2 megabits per second.

  • If you want get a look in my channel and see my video about the perseverance's landing with "no time for caution" song

  • The music is top notch

  • Reverse yeet

  • Justin Bieber music videos have 1.5 billions views. Why doesn't this have 1.5 billion views?

    • People play a music video 100 times. Sometimes 20 times in one night.

  • One day in the future, the creatures of Mars will be tearing down all their statues dedicated to Perseverance!

  • Victory !!!!!!!

  • They showed you exactly nothing that couldn't be filmed here on earth. Yall got fooled again.

    • I'm honestly not sure if you're right or wrong. What is troubling to me is to wonder - would anyone in that control room know if it was a simulation or real themselves?

  • This is one of the most amazing human endeavours I’ve ever seen and I’m so excited and proud to be alive in this time to see it unfold.

  • Congrats

  • I wonder how many people actually knew? Just saw this now.

  • incredible

  • 12:34

  • this is the future lol

  • The Oscar Goes 2...

    • The idiot prize goes to..

  • nice job

  • Will this game have micro-transactions?

  • How do this vehicle move, when there are no visible wheel marks on the ground near wheels ???

  • NASA the core of engineering pushing the limits of a humankind NASA mic: I go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • I cried a little

  • Jesus é o caminho a verdade e a vida.

  • Why are comments allowed on this great NASA video, yet not on others? Seems dubious

  • Why are ALL videos newer than this one have Comments disabled? Is NASA no longer open for dialog? :(

  • first crime in space.....? was she found guilty of that achievement....?

  • Great, but why parachute look like japanese imperial flag 😂

  • So this video allows comments, but newer videos do not? Why is that?

  • ZULFIQAR PITAFI___ISS__4000d

  • I dream of going there one day

  • NASA y’all wild

    • Невероятное зрелище! Надеюсь я доживу до дня когда первый человек ступит на поверхность Марса!

  • For April fools day it would be funny for the robot to stack rocks into a structure and take a picture of it.

  • Sicky wicky.

    • Freakin' awesome!

  • Cannot imagine if blue origin, space X and NASA work together prepare to send human to mars (example: space X focus on transportation, blue origin focus on supply and technicality like drone etc, NASA focus on infrastructure).

  • This was freaking AMAZING!

  • what about the moon? when are we going there?

    • Already went many times. It’s not as interesting as Mars.

  • I'm uncertain if interplanetary exploration would yield any greater results than manned space stations would to promote a living environment. Exploration is great to research or interplanetary existences, history, life potential, but Mars seemingly habitation is at least a generation away. Interplanetary exploration is like learning to run before walking, but hey, it's still exciting to see.

  • nasa you send my mom something.

  • 13 millones de views!! No se si llamarlo influencer pero si un disruptor de la historia humana. Felicidades a todos los que conforman la NASA.

  • Only computer made videos and photos of mars tax got out of billions. Never showed original video till today.

  • Some smart people at JPL!

  • 1:46 - "Hope you have salad"

  • The dutch government and dutch media, and an enormous amount of youtubers have been scattering my personal information over the internet for 3 years. They torture me and gangstalk me on a daily basis. They intimidate me with police cars. I want my privacy and human rights back now!

    • What?

    • Cool story bro.

  • He's the definition of: *No matter what you do there will always be an Asian better than you*

  • Congratulations NASA

  • Imagine when they’re looking at some of the footage it took they see footprints

  • Congratulations to NASA

  • It looks like cookie dough in the oven before its completly cooked...

  • Apollo 10 was Launched In May 18, 1969 61 years ago it did come back idk Apollo 10 launching and launching back 1969-????

  • Wated billions $, Only to find a glass of water. Cool

  • Freakin' awesome!

  • Невероятное зрелище! Надеюсь я доживу до дня когда первый человек ступит на поверхность Марса!

  • ENTUSIASMANTE

  • Where is the full video?

  • This is false there is no air on Mars to parasuit working

    • Only false thing is your claim. Air is a mixture of gases. Mars atmosphere is thin but it also contains gases that makes it possible to use parachute.

    • You are wrong. Mars has an atmosphere that is about 1% of Earth’s. Substantial enough for a parachute to bleed off some velocity, but not enough to land safely. That is why the sky crane is needed.

  • Proud of u scientists

  • If here on Earth, with everything we have, it's hard to be happy, imagine in Mars, the planet Desert! Is this scientific research, or are you planning to flee Earth? What are you afraid of? ( The Earth is the Titanic, do you occupy the few boats that remain? )

    • It's for scientific research and exploration. As for Earth, it's not hard to be happy (well for me anyway).

  • So emotional 🥺

  • Der Name sagt schon alles:,, pervers von Nasa,,

    • Was willst du?

  • Future of humanity
